Music has always been a gift to Shira. As a small child playing outdoors she would make up songs about God's creation which she happily sang to her mother, and quickly forgot. School years brought the usual peer pressure and self-consciousness, and the innocent, spontaneous songs of a child were lost. At age 26 she met Yeshua and was filled with God's Ruach. He gave her the freedom to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Not long afterward she was told that the Lord would give her "songs in the night", which He did! She says, "Thank God for the Holy Scriptures. They make the best songs!"

"My Heart's Desire" is Shira's first full length CD. She has been  married to her husband Lanny for over 40 years. They have 2 married children, Carl   and Laura, who along with their respective spouses, Arlana and Jeremy, are serving God with music and many other gifts.
